Description
The expectation of the Engineering Apprentice is to engage with the engineering team to carry out PPM tasks, make data driven improvements, carry out reactive maintenance and improve throughout.
Developing/showcasing engineering skills across a range of key comptencies, these include electrical, mechanical, automation, fabrication and C.I.
Daily activities include:
- Planned maintenance
- Reactive manaintance
- H&S related improvements
- Using C.I Tools
- Cross departmental meetings
- Cost saving/ OEE Improvement projects
- Supporting coaching and upskilling on non engineering team members
- Record keeping - BRC compliance
Entry requirements
GCSE 5-9 In Maths, English and Science -Essential.
Training to be provided
- The learner will be studying the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
