Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in the dynamic field of systems analysis? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our In-house maintenance systems team as an Apprentice Systems Analyst.
This apprenticeship programme offers an exciting entry point into the world of day-to-day data analysis. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced system analysts actively contributing to overall supporting function we provide and ensuring a seamless transition from issue identification to resolution. Alongside completing a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship.
Overview of the role:
The successful candidate will be using our Direct Maintenance’s core business system.
Key responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date records and providing back-office teams with system support. This includes mandatory data, screenshots, and step-by-step replication of issues reported by customers.
The apprenticeship learning will support your development and chosen career path. Whilst undertaking your learning programme, your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role, and you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands-on, work-based skills.
The Apprentice Systems Analyst will:
- Contribute to business performance and customer service delivery whilst operating in line with L&Q’s values.
- Build knowledge of L&Q’s individual applications such as, Total Mobile, Total Repairs & DRS
- Liaise with third party suppliers and monitoring outstanding requests. Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for business systems and end-users to maximise system uptime and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of system-related issues to ensure minimal disruption to business processes.
- Support the development, documentation, and optimisation of system workflows and processes to maintain compliance and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify system improvements and user needs, contributing to the continuous development of in-house systems.
- Gaining hands-on experience with system analysis tools, techniques, and frameworks to build a strong technical foundation in system administration and support.
Skills and Experience:
- GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade C / Grade 4 or above and supporting certificates (essential)
- Enthusiasm for the role and L&Q.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage/prioritise own workload.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with a positive attitude to work.
- Strong IT Skills Computer literate with a good proven competency in MS Office particularly Excel
