Access for All Administrator Apprenticeship
-
Are you looking to make a difference in 2025?
-
Are you looking to complete an accredited business support apprenticeship?
-
Are you interest in building a career in local government, in a role where you will work with members of the public and make a real difference to the quality of people’s lives?
If so, we have the role for you (Access for All Administration Apprenticeship).
Wandsworth Council is expanding its ground-breaking Access for All programme, which ensures that everyone who lives in the borough has access to the opportunities which make the borough special. In 2023, the Council introduced a generous package of leisure offers for less well-off residents, such as those on Universal Credit, families eligible for Free School Meals, and people who receive Disability Living Allowance. The Council is now expanding this programme to introduce a wider range of offers across both council services and our partners, and introduce other support offers.
We are looking for someone who will be able to help support behind the scenes of this programme by providing administrative support.
As Access for All Administrator Apprentice, you will help build the Access for All registration process, support residents to register for the scheme, and process registration applications. You will also support other council services with any administrative processes associated with the Access for All scheme, including collecting monitoring data from them on the uptake of offers and collating this information into reports for the Access for All Programme Board. You will also be responsible for keeping other elements of the Access for All project management up-to-date including action trackers and risk logs.
Alongside your role, we will also support you to complete a Level 3 Business Support Apprenticeship through the Council’s Lifelong Learning service, providing you with on-the-job training in the skills needed to succeed, and a formal qualification.
We recognise the importance of a good balance between work and home life so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working including and other arrangements. Please just let us know in your application or at any stage throughout the process (and beyond) if these are options you’d like to explore. Currently, we work as a team from the office for two days a week, across two locations (Wandsworth Town Hall and Richmond Civic Centre).
