Walder Sharp, a leading Structural Engineering London based consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Level 6 Structural Engineer Apprentice to join our dynamic team. We would also consider applicants who would be completing a Level 4 course with the understanding upon completion they would progress onto a Level 6 course.

Our team provides Structural Engineering for TV/Theatre productions, sporting events, music concerts, as well as prime and super prime residential and commercial projects.
We believe that as Engineers our designs need to address our client’s brief and their key drivers for the project. Through clear communication, a wealth of technical expertise and conscious awareness of economical and sustainable solutions we work together to deliver their vision.
We collaborate closely with leading Architects, Designers, Developers, and Contractors, prioritising operational efficiency and a meticulous approach to project briefs, site constraints, and construction processes.
Through this apprenticeship programme, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience, while contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Our structured programme develops your engineering through in house workshops and technical sessions.
You will be provided with mentoring support throughout the programme, supporting your professional and personal development in Structural Engineering.
Upon completion, you will have the ability to continue to grow through further education and professional development.
About the role
With a holistic approach to developing the next generation of Structural Engineers you will work through our in-house programme for developing excellent Engineers. Starting with the fundamentals of how to read drawings and engineering first principles you will assist Engineers on producing the drawings for the spatial and technical packs. Once you have mastered this, we will continue your development with learning how to scheme designs and working with analytical software to assist in the verification of your work. As a Structural Engineer Apprentice, you will learn to provide technical input to develop design solutions, whilst addressing complex engineering problems that consider the impacts of sustainability, construction methodology and economics.
