Ealing apprenticeship service has one exciting opportunity, with more to follow over the coming weeks and month.
You will be paid £25,276.32, with generous annual leave days and guaranteed 6 hours of study time during your working week.

We are looking for applicants who are interested in working in the public sector to make a difference by meeting the needs of a diverse community.
Apprenticeships are a great way to learn a range of new skills, knowledge and behaviours while working on the job. As an apprentice at Ealing council you will be fully supported to achieve your apprenticeship, with the potential to progress onto the next level or into a new role.
To successfully start an Ealing council apprenticeship, you will have to pass four competitive stages, followed by final background and reference checks.
Stage one is by submitting your CV and a supporting statement which should carry a minimum of 250 words, explaining why you are interested in an apprenticeship and wanting to work in public services for Ealing council.

- SEN Business Support Apprentice, 18-month fixed term, Level 3 business administration standard
You can apply if you fulfil one of the following:
A. You are a resident of the London Borough of Ealing (proof of residency will be checked)
B. You attended a school in the London Borough of Ealing, or have valid GCSEs or equivalent obtained at an Ealing school within the past 3 years (proof of will be required)
C. You attended a college in the London Borough of Ealing (college registration will be checked)
D. The London Borough of Ealing is your corporate parent (care leavers).
Please note the additional eligibility criteria:
- You must be aged 16 years or over, unless the role profile states otherwise.
- If you are in year 11 then you cannot start an apprenticeship until after your last official school day.
- Hold a British or European passport or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK
- You cannot undertake an apprenticeship in the same skills area if you already have the equivalent level of qualification.
- You cannot apply if you have already undertaken an apprenticeship with Ealing Council.
- Under the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974 you must disclose any spent or unspent convictions. There are some service areas that will not be able to consider CV’s where there are spent or unspent cautions or convictions. However, many of these apprenticeship placements can be considered, only if these are declared.
Whilst we will accept CV’s from candidates that meet the above-mentioned minimum requirement, anyone with a level 3, 4 or above qualification, for example, a degree will still require a suitability check. This is to ensure that the person undertaking an apprenticeship will learn new knowledge, skills and behaviours different to their education achievement and experiential attainment. Key Dates
Closing date for CV and supporting statement: Sunday 23 February at 11.59pm, 2025.
If shortlisted, you must attend a mandatory screening workshop at Ealing council on Friday 28 February 2025 (9.30am until 2pm). You will be notified by Tuesday 25 February 2025 if you have been selected to attend.
Applicants shortlisted from screening will be put forward to
interviews and practical work tasks, which will begin week commencing 10 March 2025
Apprenticeship start date: April 2025 (*subject to successful pre-employment check clearance)
