About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Procurement Apprentice. This full-time, Monday-to-Friday position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while working towards a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Operations qualification, accredited by CIPS.
What You'll Do:
- Raise material purchase orders based on operational needs.
- Keep our approved supplier list up to date and ensure all documentation is current.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and handle their inquiries and updates.
- Communicate with suppliers to get necessary quotations and keep the quote log updated.
- Work closely with the engineering department to ensure supplier capabilities meet customer specifications.
- Manage the timely ordering of materials to meet production schedules.
What We're Looking For:
- No prior experience in engineering is required as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and good with numbers.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.
