An exciting opportunity has become available at your local Renault dealership, where you will have the chance to learn all aspects of the Autocare Technician role while working as an apprentice.
If you're passionate about cars, Renault will provide you with top-tier training on the latest products and innovations. Dedicated Renault trainers will support you in building your knowledge and developing your skills.
Training will be provided both on the job and at the Renault Training Centre in Doncaster.
We ask for your full commitment to the Apprenticeship Programme, along with the passion and ambition to grow into a skilled Autocare Technician.
There may also be the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2 Autocare Technician standard.
Unless otherwise agreed, this apprenticeship will begin when our next intake starts in Spring 2025.
To qualify, you will need a grade 2 or above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent).
Your duties will include learning the fundamentals of specific vehicle systems, including but not limited to:
- Steering & Suspension
- Braking Systems
- Battery & Charging Systems
- Exhaust Systems
- Air-Conditioning Systems
To further support the Level 2 Autocare Technician qualification, additional elements are integrated into the training, such as:
- Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service
- Parts and Stock Management
- ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- FGAS (Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases)
- Basic Electric Vehicle Awareness
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be awarded the Level 2 Autocare Technician qualification
