35 hours over 4 days- Apprentice NMW

Our setting is a homely environment situated on a farm in Ireleth, just outside of Askam - In - Furness who care for children from 8 months - 4 years old. We provide a unique opportunity for children to be nurtured and grow, spending as much time outdoors as possible, gaining hands on experience where they can and taking a lead role in caring for our animals.

We are looking for a level 2 or level 3 apprentice, prior childcare experience is not required. If you are a passionate individual wanting to embark on their childcare journey in a unique setting this is the perfect position for you. You will gain a variety of skills that can be applied to various different job roles, as well as being part of an amazing team who have a range of knowledge and experience that they can't wait to share with you.

The successful candidate will be trained by qualified and experienced practitioners as well as having the support of a college tutor. They will also attend the college one evening a week.

Requirements:

-Must be able to drive and be prepared to travel or have a reliable lift to and from work

-A love for the outdoors and prepared to be out in all weather conditions

- A love for animals and prepared to be working closely with a variety of different breeds

- Passionate about childcare and helping our children grow and learn
