Job Title: Apprentice / Trainee Nursery Assistant

Location: Bright Beams Day Nurseries

Hours: Part-Time (30 hours per week, 9AM - 3PM)

Salary: National Apprenticeship Wage

Reporting to: Room Leader

Job Purpose:

To gain hands-on experience in an early years setting while completing a relevant childcare qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily nursery routines and activities.
Support the learning and development of children.
Work towards a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification.

Person Specification:

✔ Essential:

Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Passion for working with children.

✔ Desirable:

Some childcare experience (voluntary or paid).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £6.40-£7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
No weekends

Work Location: In person
