Description

Training by our engineers both on site, and on occasion in the office, on a daily basis

Training to meet the standards of the company as well as the requirements of British Standards

Triple Star Fire and Secrurity was establish in 2006 and since then have grown year on year. Offering excellent customer service which has resulted in them having an establish reputation within the industry. They are also passionate about improving standards within the fire and security industry and the MD sits as a BSI committee member and regularly lobbies for industry standards to be upheld and improved. He is also a branch Chairman of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), the UK’s leading trade association representing and supporting the interests of electrotechnical and building engineering services contractors.

Due to this continued growth they are now looking to employ 2-3 apprentices. The successful individuals will get the opportunity to work for an established and dynamic employer and become a multi disciplined engineer

Entry requirements

16+
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS
Live within 10-15 miles of the BR5

Training to be provided

Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security.

The qualification you would be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

This is a 36 month apprenticeship, full commitment is needed during this time.
