Looking to kickstart your career in marketing? As an Apprentice Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life - supporting the planning and execution of retail marketing campaigns and communications that connect with our customers and members.
We are offering a two-year Fixed Term Contract and the chance to gain a recognised apprenticeship in multi-channel marketing while working in a busy head office environment.

What to expect..
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Support the maintenance of food retail and membership promotions.
- Help create Point of Sale (POS) and digital content for Southern Co-op’s social media and marketing platforms.
- Support day-to-day POS (point-of-sale) requests and queries and maintain these assets.
- Assist with marketing and membership emails.
- Maintain accurate store and branch location data on local search pages.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with guidelines and relevant legislations.
What we're looking for..
- Previous administrative experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or creative role/studies.
- Familiarity with design/content creation tools such as Canva / Photoshop / Adobe Suit.
- Basic understanding of social media marketing.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Creative and can juggle multiple deadlines.
