Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of hydrogen production equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and test components to ensure optimal performance and safety in the manufacturing process.
- Work with senior engineers to support the assembly, testing, and quality control of components used in hydrogen production systems.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental protocols during manufacturing and production processes.
- Assist in performing routine testing and inspections to ensure quality standards for components and systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design engineers, production staff, and quality assurance teams.
- Participate in training sessions, to develop your technical knowledge and skills.

Working Week: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday which includes 4 day working on site and one day attendance at Crawley College.
Salary: £21,000 per annum (Please see Further Information on the Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage below)
Qualifications Required to Apply:
- GCSE English Minimum Grade 9-4
- Two A-levels, one in Math and another technical subject.
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering with at least a merit.
- Desirable - Appropriate work-based knowledge and competency.

Future Prospects: Following successful completion of the 45 months apprenticeship program there will be an opportunity for you to be considered for a permanent position with the company.
Things to Consider:
- The potential start date for this apprenticeship role is September 2025
- Training to be provided by Crawley College
- This is a 45-month apprenticeship and applicants MUST BE free from full time education to be eligible to apply for it and have the minimum qualification level to apply for it
- Applicants MUST BE resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years prior to the start of learning and have work authorisation for the UK.
- Applicants WILL NOT BE eligible to apply if they have already achieved a qualification which is equal to or higher thank the apprenticeship standard on offer.
- Applicants MUST BE resident in the area local to the apprenticeship opportunity or be prepared to relocate in time to start employment and study.
- Applicants MUST BE committed to the learning and stay to the end of the apprenticeship.

Further Information: Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £7.55 per hour (As of the 1st April 2025). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16 to 18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their ages applies.
