Overview
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join our team as a receptionist in our surgery. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional setting while developing key business administration skills. The successful candidate will provide vital support across various administrative functions, ensuring smooth office operations.

Duties

Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Provide clerical support, including filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
Maintain organised records and documentation using Google Suite and Office applications.
Answer phone calls and contacting patients, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Help in the preparation of reports and presentations by compiling relevant data.
Meeting and greeting clients.

Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A keen interest in developing business administration skills and a willingness to learn are essential attributes for success in this role.

The apprenticeship minimum wage is £6.40/hour (rising to £7.55 as of 1/4/25). This can be paid for the first 12 months of your apprenticeship. After 12 months your wage will increase to at least NMW.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £1,100.00-£1,200.00 per month
