The Learning Experience in Leatherhead are looking for an apprentice to join their highly skilled team. A fantastic opportunity to gain a level 3 early years apprenticeship whilst supporting the room leaders in providing high end education engaging children through fun and educational activities.
As an apprentice at The Learning Experience you will ensure the health and safety of the childrenin the nursery is the number one priority and contribute to the high standards of care andeducation.
As a level 3 Early Years Apprentice you will:
- Deliver and plan richlearning opportunities; in line with The Learning Experience LEAP framework andCore Advantage / EYFS.
- Provide outstandingcare that helps all children to develop and meets their individual needs.
- Have a flexibleapproach to working hours and where required, support local nurseries.
- Monitor, observe andassess children; and implement activities which reflect the needs, interestsand stages of development of the individual child.
- Provide enablingenvironments, that provide consistent stimulating and inspiring activities forthe children in both the indoor and outdoor areas.
- Ensure that BritishValues are incorporated and demonstrated through Core Advantage, LEAP and the EarlyYears Foundation Stage learning and play.
- Safeguard and promotethe health, safety and welfare of children in line with The LearningExperience's child protection and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure internalpolicies and procedures are adhered to, whilst also meeting the externallegislation and guidelines from our governing bodies.
- Promote and followguidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children tomanage their own feelings and behaviours.
- Continually work inpartnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals tomeet the individual needs of the children.
- Demonstrate effectivewritten and verbal communication at all levels.
- Attend staff meetingsand training sessions for continuous professional development.
- Work as part of ateam to ensure all essential day to day tasks are completed in line with the nurserydemands.
