About the Company:
Chuggers Day Nursery and Preschool is a family run setting in Taunton, that provides exceptional standards of childcare for children aged 3 months to 11 years. Here at Chuggers we aim to provide an environment that will encourage children to develop into happy, confident, indecent individuals. We foster our child's natural curiosity, sense of awe and wonder, enthusiasm to learn, and encourage the children to explore and investigate a range of resources and materials using all of their senses. We work closely with our sister setting, Choo Choos Day Nursery, to share good practice and support children's learning and development. We offer an outstanding and nurturing experience in a beautiful, warm and traditional environment. The nursery offers great facilities and promotes outdoor learning.
The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to ensure all children attending Chuggers Day Nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and inspiring individuals with a basic understanding of the EYFS. You must possess excellent planning and communication skills both written and verbal, be self-motivated and flexible and enjoy working as part of a team. A sense of humour is essential.
