Apprentice/Trainee Carpet and Flooring Fitter
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, and enthusiastic Trainee Carpet & Flooring fitter to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience. Driving licence not necessary. The successful candidate will assist in sub-floor preparation along with laying various flooring such as carpets, vinyl and luxury vinyl tiles. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within the company.
Role Requirements
- To work with one of our head fitters installing carpets, vinyl and LVT
- Some heavy lifting and moving of furniture required.
- Preparing sub-floors using plywood and latex screed smoothing compounds.
- To be polite and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- To assist in the main warehouse when required with stock rolls and cuts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
