Summary
We are seeking a keen trainee dental nurse to join our dynamic team at Abbeymead Dental Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort and care while assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatments. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent patient service.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient needs and concerns before, during, and after treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.
- Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Proven ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
Part or Full-Time Trainee Dental Nurse: for our modern, clean 8-surgery NHS and Private Practice. We are a very established practise, offering dental services to our community for 23 years. We are looking to expand our team and improve our patient engagement through social media channels and outreach activities (school talks, group meetings and local initiatives).
