Bookkeeping Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Bookkeeping Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals aged 16+ who are eager to begin a career in accounting and finance. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while developing essential bookkeeping and office skills in a supportive and professional environment. You'll work closely with experienced accountants who will guide you through your apprenticeship journey.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily finance and bookkeeping operations as directed by supervisors.
Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions, invoices, and receipts.
Support preparing financial documents such as purchase orders, bank reconciliations, and payment runs.
Help manage accounts payable and receivable.
Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues via email and phone.
Learn and use accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
Maintain organised records and ensure all financial data is filed securely and correctly.

Requirements

Strong interest in finance, accounting, or business.
Good maths and English skills (GCSE or equivalent preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Multilingual skills (especially English and Spanish) are a bonus.
Previous experience in admin or customer service is helpful but not essential.
Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong work ethic.

Pay: £22,053.00-£23,865.00 per year

Expected hours: 37 per week
