About us: Figure of Eight Education CIC is an innovative alternative education provider committed to supporting young people who thrive outside of mainstream settings. We specialise in creating inclusive, nurturing environments that meet the unique needs of children—particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
The Role:
As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with a lead teacher to support the educational and emotional development of our students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who require additional support to succeed in their learning journey while completing .
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special needs, particularly those with autism, in their daily learning and development.
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering tailored educational activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Develop positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members to support holistic development.
- Learn and develop professional skills on the job, with guidance and support from experienced educators.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
