Transactional Finance Apprentice, Full time, 21 month fixed term contract An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance team for a Transactional Finance Apprentice. As a Transactional Finance Apprentice, you will support the Finance Team in processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, contributing to the strategic financial and operational objectives of South Essex College Group. The scope of responsibilities may change in line with evolving team and organisational needs, under appropriate management guidance. This is a developmental apprenticeship role combining practical experience with structured study towards the AAT Level 3 qualification.
The successful applicant will be supported throughout their apprenticeship and gain hands-on experience across key transactional finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. Duties will include, but not be limited to, assist with the processing of a variety of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and processes adhered to at all times. Handling day to day queries in person and by telephone and importing of bank statements to the finance system. Full training will be provided.
As an apprentice you will be expected to complete your AAT Level 3 qualification. You must be over 16 years of age and have Grade 4 Maths and English Qualifications to be able to go onto the Level 3 Apprenticeship. This role will be fixed term for 21 Months. 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year, 30 Days holiday and Free Parking (Subject to permit) Please be advised that the College may fill vacancies before the closing date if a suitable candidate is found.
