Begin your career in property with Blackshaw Homes as a full-time Apprentice Lettings Negotiator. This is an excellent opportunity to gain qualifications while working in a professional lettings environment.
**Your main duties will include:**
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Completing thorough property inspections
- Assisting with tenancy negotiations
- Preparing tenancy agreements and managing documentation
- Matching tenants to suitable properties
- Maintaining accurate property records
- Providing excellent service to landlords and tenants
- Keeping up to date with lettings legislation
**Essential requirements for this role:**
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Availability to work every Saturday (with a weekday off)
- Living within reasonable commuting distance of Southend
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Professional manner and appearance
**About the apprenticeship:**
You will complete a Level 2 Housing and Property Management qualification over 12-15 months, with potential to progress to Level 3. The training covers:
- Property law and regulations
- Health and safety requirements
- Customer service skills
- Property inspection techniques
- Working with different client needs
**Working hours:**
This is a full-time position requiring Saturday work each week, with a compensatory day off during the week. Some flexibility in weekday hours may be possible.
