We are an established family business and are currently seeking enthusiastic, self motivated and driven young people to join our experienced workshop team as apprentice technicians.
The position will involve extensive training towards working on Large Goods Vehicles, such as Vans, Trucks and Trailers. Duties will include carrying out servicing, fault finding, repair of vehicles, operating specialist equipment and all other associated tasks.
On-the-job training will be carried out in our modern and fully equipped workshop alongside your mentor, where you will be trained in all aspects of the heavy vehicle repair industry.
This training will be supported by Modern apprenticeship training with our training partner to reach NVQ level 5 in heavy vehicle repair.
As your training and experience progress, further training will be provided including approved welding courses, safe roadside working practice, tachograph calibration and repair, hybrid and EV training and IRTEC registration. There will be other supplementary training offered in an ongoing basis throughout your apprenticeship.
Upon completion of your apprenticeship we will provide further training to obtain your HGV category CE license.
