Job Overview:
The candidate will provide essential administrative support and be a first point of contact withinKit Buildings UK. You will learn on the job and gain numerous skills within a variety of areas, whilst working towards a qualification in Business Administration.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The key duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administration support to the Sales and Operations Coordinator.
- Prepare and ensure that quotations are sent to customers in the agreed time frames.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Take detailed messages and relay important information to relevant team members promptly.
- Maintaining filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Updating databases with confidential information on both clients and employees.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring they are easily accessible for reference.
- Preparation of Operation and Maintenance contracts.
- Comply with the company’s policies & procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required.
Person Specification:
- Confidence in using Microsoft packages, in particular Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft Excel.
- Motivation and ability to learn and use other software packages.
- Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload, within a fast-paced environment.
- An outgoing and self-motivated individual who can work with their own initiative, completing all tasks to a high standard.
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding the importance of excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, and with other departments.
Training & Qualifications:
Enrolment on the Level 2/3 Business administration course to become a qualified business administration assistant. At the end of your training apprenticeship there will be a full-time job available if you have met the required standard.
On the job training and support will be given throughout your apprenticeship.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Actual or predicted qualification in English & Mathematics, National 5 or above.
- No experience is required as all training will be provided.
