An exciting opportunity to join our multi-award winning team.
We are seeking motivated and technically skilled Apprentice Vehicle Technicians to join our workshop team. You will work under the guidance of qualified technicians, assisting in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of various vehicle systems. This role offers hands-on experience while continuing to develop your skills toward becoming a fully qualified technician.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE TO ALL LEVELS FROM CANDIDATES JUST STARTING THEIR APPRENTICESHIP RIGHT UP TO THOSE COMPLETING THEIR 3RD YEAR.
The Ideal Person:
- Minimum entry requirement of GCSE’s grades 4 and above in Englist, Maths and Science
- Enthusiasm & willingness to learn
- Strong communication
- Teamwork
- Interest in vehicle engineering
This is an exciting role for the right person with excellent mechanical skills to grow and develop within our company. On-going manufacturer training will also be provided (if required).
Main Duties & Personal Skills:
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using electronic and manual methods
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on light vehicles under supervision
- Support senior technicians in complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and brake work
- Use technical manuals and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Continue to develop technical knowledge through formal training and on-the-job learning
