Job Summary:
We are offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Car Mechanic to join our specialist team. Whether you're passionate about air-cooled classics or modern high-performance Porsche vehicles, this apprenticeship will provide hands-on experience in a high-end, detail-driven environment. You will gain valuable skills while being mentored by experienced Porsche technicians and supported through formal qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the diagnosis, servicing, and repair of Porsche vehicles (classic and modern)
- Learn to use specialist Porsche tools, diagnostic software, and workshop systems
- Support senior technicians with mechanical rebuilds, performance upgrades, and restorations
- Help carry out routine maintenance tasks including brake servicing, oil changes, and inspections
- Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
- Attend external training as part of your apprenticeship programme (e.g., IMI or NVQ Level 2/3)
- Uphold Porsche’s high standards of quality, precision, and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for Porsche cars and high-performance engineering
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a specialist automotive environment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, proactive attitude
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above preferred)
- A basic understanding of mechanical systems is desirable, but not essential
