Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an eye for aesthetics, capable of transforming spaces into visually appealing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision and executing designs that reflect their style while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their decorating needs and preferences.
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
- Source materials, furnishings, and decorative items that align with the design vision.
- Execute the decoration of spaces, ensuring attention to detail and quality in every aspect.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of decor elements.
- Stay updated on current trends in interior design and decoration to provide innovative solutions.
- Maintain a portfolio of completed projects for future reference and client presentations.
Experience
- Proven experience in interior decorating or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of colour theory, spatial arrangements, and design principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in design software is an advantage but not essential.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics are crucial for success in this role.
