We’re on the lookout for a Systems Engineer Apprentice - if you’re into tech, love solving problems and want to learn how the systems behind the scenes really work, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be joining our hands-on, collaborative Enterprise Services team at Compare the Market. We manage everything from Microsoft Azure to Office 365 as well as a host of SAAS applications - making sure they all run smoothly.
As part of the role, you’ll complete the Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship with our trusted training provider.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
- Build, run and own technology that supports our colleagues.
- Keep services secure, stable and scalable.
- Help support complex tech issues and new challenges.
- Automate and improve how we do things – we’re all about better.
- Follow our tech standards and help shape them too.
- Write up clear documentation, deliver quality work and support audits.
The tech you’ll work with:
- Microsoft Products, such as Azure, Office 365, SharePoint and Copilot.
- Windows & Mac Laptops, Teams Rooms and Azure Servers.
- A host of SAAS apps – far too many to list!
- Infrastructure as Code (we like Terraform).
- PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
What you’ll need:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, solutions-first mindset.
- A passion for tech and a drive to make things better.
