At Read Motor Group, every member of the team plays a essential role in shaping the customers experience and due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice/ Trainee Technician to join our busy workshop at Read Hyundai Grimsby.
As an Apprentice/ Trainee Technician you will report directly to the Workshop Controller and will assist and observe work within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Attend training arranged and funded by us.
- Complete PDI’s
- Complete internal prep work
- Service vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- To ensure all work undertaken delivers a high level of customer care and customer satisfaction.
- Correct use of tools and equipment
- Maintain personal, public, and workplace cleanliness to protect against all hazards to themselves and all others
- Maintain and develop relations with customers and clients
- To work within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
- You will have either a NVQ Level 1 or NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, this would be advantageous but not essential for the position.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential for the position.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
