With a reputation for craftsmanship and precision, we’re now offering an exciting opportunity for a Digital Admin Apprentice to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside experienced technical construction professionals, supporting daily operations and helping to improve the efficiency of our digital workflows.
This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in construction and build toward a future in Project Coordination or Project Management.
Responsibilities:
- First responder to clients via email, phone, chat box and website. Effectively triaging customer enquiries about existing jobs and projects, supporting with creation of new jobs and any other requests that come in.
- You will be responsible for inputting and processing purchase orders, preparing reports and updating ongoing projects.
- Create presentation and documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Collaborate with various departments and managers within the business and assist with their ongoing projects.
- Assist in maintaining the organisation’s online presence in conjunction with our Marketing consultant, such as updating website content or social media.
- Enter and update data on Microsoft Excel to monitor ongoing jobs to be shared across teams using Google Workspace and Sharepoint.
- Learn to use and support digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Google Workspace).
- Contribute to improving digital processes and identifying areas for greater efficiency.
- Participate in training and development as part of your apprenticeship programme.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in construction, joinery, or project management
- Strong interest in digital tools and administrative processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude and keen attention to detail.
- Nat 5s (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ICT or Business Studies are desirable.
- Previous experience with digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) through school or personal use.
