What We Offer:

Diverse work environments – Once qualified, you’ll work on a variety of sites, including but not limited to:
- Process plants (Chemical, Food, Brewing, etc.)
- Commercial construction sites (Offices, Schools, Hospitals, etc.)
- Shipyards
- Power generation sites (Nuclear, Gas, Oil, etc.)
Hands-on training – Learn how to apply insulation materials and metal cladding to improve energy efficiency, prevent heat loss/gain, and ensure personnel protection.
Opportunities to work away – Travel to different sites and gain valuable experience across the UK.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone eager to learn and develop a trade.
- Ideally, you’ll drive and live within 10 miles of Burton upon Trent.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work in varied environments.
A Day in the Life of a Thermal Insulation Operative:
- Installing and applying thermal insulation materials based on site-specific conditions.
- Working with different surface types and adapting to changing temperatures.
- Removing existing materials and preparing surfaces for new insulation.
- Following job specifications and site instructions to ensure top-quality work.

Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 07.00 – 16.00 per week
