Paragon Elevators Ltd is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Admin Apprentice to join their fast-paced and friendly office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in administration within a supportive and team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
- Raising new work jobs and logging them into the system
- Filing paperwork and maintaining accurate job records
- Printing worksheets for engineers and job files
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Liaising with engineers and subcontractors regarding ongoing jobs
- Assisting the accounts department with administrative support
- Chasing outstanding repairs and following up on progress
- Updating client portals with relevant information as and when requested
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Strong telephone manner and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Windows operating systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship with the appointed provider, HBTC (www.hbtc.co.uk). An Apprenticeship allows you to acquire valuable skills and experience in your chosen sector, which improves your CV and employability when you've finished training. You'll learn in the work environment, developing the practical skills and understanding you need to excel in your role. This opportunity could also lead to permanent employment and progression opportunities.
