TRAINEE APPRENTICE GARDENER
John Barber Pruning an established family firm, we undertake a varied type of work, for domestic clients, all over Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire.,
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Apprentice Gardener. This role will provide on-the-job training and practical experience in all aspects of gardening and grounds maintenance. You will be working as part of a team, learning the necessary skills to start a career in gardening.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with general garden maintenance tasks, such as hedge trimming, weeding, and planting. Learning to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely.
- Contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of the gardens.
Skills:
- Happy working outdoors in all weathers. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills. Develop physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
Training and Development:
- This may include attending college for [e.g., day release or block release] sessions.
- There will be mentors who will provide support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship.
