The Role
The Information Management Customer Service Apprentice supports the delivery of high-quality customer service across the organisation. You’ll work under the guidance of our experienced Customer Service Manager gaining hands-on experience while studying towards a Level 2 qualification.
What you will do:
- Provide a professional first point of contact for customers via phone, email, face-to-face, or digital channels.
- Respond to customer enquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using internal systems.
- Support the delivery of customer service improvements by gathering feedback and identifying common issues.
- Learn and apply organisational policies, procedures, and values in all customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
- Escalate complex queries to appropriate team members or departments when necessary.
The Customer Service Apprenticeship Programme is designed to help you develop the essential skills required for a successful career in customer services. Entry requirement for access to this apprenticeship:
- 16 or Over
- Living in the UK
- Not in full time education
- Good Literacy and numeracy skills
- 5 x GCSE’s
Applicants without level 1 functional skills, equivalent to a GCSE 2 or 3, will be considered and if successful will be supported by their training provider to gain it during the course. They will also work towards a level 2 in English and Maths, equivalent to a GCSE pass 4
