We have an incredible new opportunity for a Business Admin Apprentice to join Landau. As a Business Admin Apprentice, you will provide friendly and efficient reception services and responsive administrative support for the centre staff so the centre operates a safe, welcoming and supportive service for all customers, learners and visitors, promoting inclusion and training at every opportunity.

Key responsibilities will include:
· Provide welcoming and efficient reception services, greeting and signing in visitors, ensuring a well-presented environment
· Answering the telephones, monitoring and replying to emails, dealing with day-to-day queries, ensuring high quality communication and customer service
· Support with events arrangements, room bookings, visitor arrangements, taster days, and parent’s evenings.
· Offer flexible support and show initiative in identifying and completing tasks that will assist with the growth and vibrancy of the centre, contributing as part of a high performing and forward-thinking team
· To ensure that Bursaries are completed each week for learners who are eligible and sent to Finance for processing
· To assist any office staff with any daily tasks
· Provide administrative functions for the centre such as tracking orders, supplies and stationery, liaising with suppliers, travel/transport providers
· Support in the production and upkeep of business systems such as databases, spreadsheets or documents
· Maintain a presence “front of house” supporting high standards of customer service, supervision and support
· Support effective communications with parents, carers, stakeholders including arranging meetings, tracking reviews, following absences, recording holidays or leave etc
· Undertake such other duties that are required commensurate with the role
· Arrange thorough handover when taking leave

SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Technical competency (qualifications and training certificates/licenses)
- GCSE’s to include English and Maths
Experience
- Full training will be given to the right candidate.
- Excellent telephone manner and work ethic.
- Experience working in a customer facing environment

Hours: 36.5 hours per week
Salary: £7.55 per hour increasing to the real living wage following completion of first year of apprenticeship
