"Site Services Engineering Apprentice (Multi skilled)" to join our team.
Purpose of the role:
To further develop current skills, to gain qualifications and experience. To be able to work on all aspects required for the future of the Iceland Deeside office, depot and associated facilities to be able to work in a safe operating manner, and assist in the works to ensure the buildings are maintained to the highest possible standards, in accordance with legislation and best practice
In this role you can expect to:
To understand and assist to ensure that the office, depot and associated facilities are always maintained to the highest possible standards and that the building infrastructure and fabric are robustly protected and cared for, including the operation of ancillary equipment.
- To work within the department on both planned and reactive maintenance.
- To understand the needs and reasoning of maintenance, repair, and installation work involved with the operation of Large Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Plant, ensuring that plant is available and maintained to optimum performance levels at all times.
- To understand the purpose of and contribute towards maintaining documentation to ensure company legal compliance.
- To understand and use the CMMS (shire) to ensure all regular maintenance is carried out.
- To understand the regular mandatory checks and work to include but not limited to:- Legionella, Refrigeration Plant, Dock Levellers, Access Equipment;/MHE
- To learn and understand building management systems with particular attention to Trend.
- To understand and maintain stocks to enable the company to operate safely, effectively and efficiently with the minimum disruption.
- To work with the engineering team on Installation of new plant and equipment.
- To undertake internal office furniture/equipment handling removals and relocation, including the conference/training rooms and any necessary audio visual equipment, configuring to the users requirements.
- To undertake general facilities duties across the site, to aid the smooth operation. Duties to include any reasonable request withing the remit of a facilities department.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience:
Required
- Educated to GCSE Level standard or equivalent in maths, English and Science subjects.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
- Ability in fault finding.
- Full clean driving licence.
Preferable:
- Working towards NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance
- BS 7671 18th Edition regulations.
