We are looking for a dynamic and proactive apprentice who will progress to eventually become AAT/ACCA qualified to join our accountancy practice which is based close to Irlam train station. We wish to appoint someone who is friendly, highly motivated, and reliable. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is wishing to start their career in accountancy, finance and business.
APPRENTICESHIP SUMMARY
Annual Wage : £12,400 - £16,000 depending on age and qualifications
Working Week: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm
Total Hours: 37.5
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 Months
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Process purchase & sales invoices
- Process of bank payments & bank receipts
- Bank Reconciliations
- Bookkeeping
- Preparation of clients VAT returns
- Preparation of sole trader accounts
- Liaise with clients to collect required information
- Use of Sage/Xero/In-house Software (for bookkeeping)
- Company Secretarial Service
- Assisting with Payroll (Brightpay)
- General admin duties

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
School leaver - You will be expected to have achieved 4-5 GCSE grades 5-9 with grade 5+ in English and Maths or equivalent.

College leaver – GSCE grade’s as above plus predicted 2 A-Levels grades A-C or BTEC equivalent at grade Merit or above.
