We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in a career in Business or Law to join our team in Crewkerne on an 18 month Business Apprenticeship
This role is likely to appeal to both recent school or college leavers as well as career changers seeking an entry level position. This Business Apprenticeship (Legal Pathway)provides a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop administrative skills in a highly professional environment whilst undertaking an NVQ level 3 Business Administration qualification that will include some Legal modules. 20% of the working week will be designated to training and development that is directly related to your qualification. This will be through a mix of online sessions, coursework and on the job learning. You will also have the advantage of being designated a mentor from HK Law and Damar Training who can support you in your learning and developmement.
This role will ideally suit candidates who possess the basic transferable skills required to work within a professional office environment. Some previous admin/reception experience is preferred but not essential as training can be given, however candidates must be conscientious, well presented and possess excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner. An eye for detail is also essential as is a keen interest in helping colleagues to achieve common goals. In order to apply, we require candidates to have obtained GCSE Grade 4 (C ) or above in Maths and English.
Duties will include:
· Providing general office assistance to the Office Supervisor as directed
· Learning and effecting all ‘front of house’ tasks efficiently
· Ensuring that ‘Front of House’ looks and feels highly professional at all times
· Ensuring up to date and authorised literature is provided Front of House
· Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
· Stationery ordering & postal duties
· Coordinate incoming deliveries
· Petty cash management & banking
· Local office email management
· Parking permit monitoring
· Processing and archiving of files
