IT Support Apprentice

Please note this is a level 3 apprenticeship opportunity. This means we cannot accept anyone with an IT related qualification that is equivalent to level 3 or higher, or anyone who already has extensive experience in an IT related role.

*THIS ROLE REQUIRES A DRIVER*

Role: IT Support Apprentice

Location: Tiverton, EX16

Salary: From £7.55 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week - Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm

Key responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and live chat
Diagnose and resolve basic IT issues, escalating where necessary
Build and configure IT equipment for deployment
Assist with new user setups and password resets
Support workstation installations and basic network admin tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation
Contribute to a positive, people-first support experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Ability to work well in a team and independently

What opportunities exist for the Apprentice after their complete their Apprenticeship

We want to develop and maintain our apprentices with the business. At the end of the apprenticeship there will be the opportunity for your role to become permanent within the business and to play a key role to its continued success.

The successful candidate will undertake a ICT Technician Level 3 apprenticeship with full training and support provided by Althaus Digital.
