We are currently seeking one Apprentice Engineer – HVAC
Working week:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 -16:45
Friday 08:00 -12:00
exclusive of a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes on Monday- Thursday, to be taken between 12:00-14:00.
Start and finish time may vary according to operational requirements
Total hours per week: 37.5
Salary: From £20,000

What does the job role involve?
The Electrical Design Apprentice’s purpose is to support the engineering team in producing electrical drawings, schematics, and control panel layouts for incinerators. The role combines structured learning with practical work experience to develop the skills required to progress towards becoming a qualified Electrical & Controls Design Engineer.
The Apprentice Installation & Commissioning Engineer will support the installation, testing, and commissioning of incineration systems and related equipment. This is a learning role designed to provide hands-on experience, working under the guidance of experienced engineers, while developing technical and practical skills.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As well as gaining a broad range of professional knowledge and experience, you will gain academic vocational qualifications such as the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard. The apprentice will also achieve Level 3 NVQ Diploma Engineering Maintenance – services maintenance pathway - as well as a Level 3 Sub Diploma in Engineering Technologies.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have 4 x GCSE (at A-C) or equivalent, including Maths, English and preferably a Science subject.
