## Job Summary
The Role:
KBO is excited to announce a new role within our Finance Department, designed to support our business growth and meet increasing demands. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our established team as a Level 2 Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger Data Entry:
· Entering and maintaining purchase ledger data accurately.
· Matching purchase orders with invoices.
Invoicing:
· Raising invoices for customers in a timely manner.
· Assisting with credit control processes.
· Making phone calls to collect customer payments.
Customer Interaction:
· Handling customer inquiries and payment collections over the phone.
Training and Development:
· Comprehensive training will be provided in all aspects of the role.
· Training on the company's IT systems and software will be offered to ensure smooth integration into the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Education and Experience: No previous experience in a finance department is necessary.
· Some workplace experience, particularly in an office environment, is beneficial
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new IT systems and processes.
Personal Attributes:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Motivated to learn and take on new challenges.

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Assist in data entry tasks related to financial records
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to maintain financial information
- Support the team with administrative duties including filing and documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure financial data accuracy
- Handle basic queries related to financial services.
During your Level 2 Accounts Assistant apprenticeship you will receive ongoing training and support from both KBO and National Upskill.
