Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join a team as a Property Maintenance Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a nationally recognized qualification in property maintenance. You’ll support the upkeep and improvement of residential and commercial properties, learning a wide range of skills including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks across various properties.
- Learn and apply basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry techniques.
- Support the team in responding to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in property maintenance and building trades.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive.
- Minimum of level 3 in BOTH Maths and English
Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
