We are currently looking to recruit a enthusiastic and motivated nursery practitioner or apprentice to join our nursery in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Candidates must be able to work well in a team, use their own initiative to ensure all children are well supported and cared for and be a good role model for the children in our care.
This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Although a qualified practitioner is preferred, training will be given should an apprentice be the right candidate.
All positions will require to join the PVG Scheme membership and registration with the SSSC along with 2 suitable references.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for building relationships with groups of children, caring for them and providing them with the support they need to grow and develop. Ensuring the safety and well-being of children is paramount at all times. Meeting each individual child's needs and planning for their learning and development.
Developing knowledge in current curriculum practice such as Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the Ambition, and Getting it Right for Every Child.
