Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test incoming components and finished products.
- Assist in resolving quality issues with suppliers and internal teams.
- Prepare performance data and quality reports.
- Support first article inspections and qualification of parts/materials.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance checks (e.g. AS9100 and other relevant standards)
Training & Development:
- Attend college one day per week for formal training.
- Work toward Level 3 Diploma in the Engineering/Quality sector.
- Receive mentoring and coaching from experienced professionals.
- Gain exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, and other improvement methodologies.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of the certification standards held by the company (ISO 9001, AS9100)
Entry Requirements:
- GCSEs in English (Grade 4/C or above), Maths (Grade 5/B or above), and a relevant science or technical subject, or already attended college and attained a technical qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
