Job Summary
we have an ambition to solve a client’s Estate Planning needs during their contact with us whenever possible, to ensure clients are supported to put in place their Estate Planning documents in a timely manner and by the right person. It is our aim that our clients, funders and partner organisations, see OLS as a service that helps people deal with their problems and not merely a service that is able to signposts elsewhere.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Apprentice Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining a smooth workflow and enhancing the productivity of our team.
Duties
· Copy Typing
· Processing legal documentation
· Opening and closing files
· Maintaining office and client accounts
· General administrative support
· Scheduling meetings, appointments
· Consultations with community groups
Research and campaigns
- Support the Legal Consultant on any campaigns that the company is working on.
- Help the research and campaigns by identifying growing advice trends.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and project coordination
Experience
- Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to write detailed and quality case notes
- Proficiency in IT
- Ability to research difficult advice issues within reputable sources and convey complex information to the client, ensuring they have understood.
- Ability to learn and develop
- Understanding of and commitment to the aims and principles of the Olivers Legal Services and our values
- Other duties and responsibilities
- Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues.
- Any other relevant advice and support duties required to ensure the smooth running of the office.

- PROGRESSION
- Upon successful completion of the level 3 Administration Apprenticeship programme you will achieve a national qualification recognised through out the industry and this may, where available, lead to a full time permanent position being offered.
