Job Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity to work with one of the largest groundworks contractors in the Southwest, MJL Group! This role as Training & Apprenticeships Coordinator will see you working closely with a range of areas of the business, giving you a great insight to the inner workings of the industry.
No one day will be the same, and you will be acting on urgent matters for training, bookings, certifications etc. This is a great chance for someone who thrives in a fast environment, and loves working with trainees / apprentices.

This role has become available due to the previous employee's growth and subsequent promotion within the company. This is something MJL fosters in its teams, and looks to always train its staff and promote from within.
Responsibilities
- Communication and monitoring apprentices / trainees within the business
- Monitoring skills / qualifications, ensuring they are renewed
- Maintaining reports
- Booking courses
- scheduling college dates and tests for apprentices or prospective joiners
- Communication with colleges / local schools to arrange apprenticeships and programmes
- Verify cards / applicants' details / checking compliance
- Managing grants on user portal
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
Requirements
- Experience in training is preferable, but we can provide training to you if needed
- Strong communication skills / time management skills
- Good experience in using Microsoft Suite

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
