Job Vacancy: Apprentice Tandem Instructor & Business Support

About the Role
This is an intensive, comprehensive development pathway designed to transform a dedicated individual into a high-quality, commercially-rated Tandem Instructor while fully integrating them into all facets of the GoSkydive business.
The role is split between a rigorous Tandem Instructor progression plan and performing essential Drop Zone (DZ) business support. Apprentices are expected to perform all ground roles to the highest standard, including Customer Experience Team (CET) duties, Manifest, Equipment Prep, Media, Sales, and Drop Zone Control. You will also contribute to operational efficiencies and maintenance tasks, gaining a holistic understanding of the entire business and customer journey. You must embody the GoSkydive vision, values, and unwavering attitude towards safety and customer experience from day one.

- Compensation: You will be remunerated for all business support roles performed. The entire cost of all skydiving training and qualifications is covered by GoSkydive, representing an investment of approximately £30,000 that would typically take 10 years and significant personal cost to achieve independently.
- Growth & Development: A clear, documented progression plan leading from entry-level to high-quality Tandem Instructor (approx. 800-850 jumps) and eventual Handcam proficiency (approx. 1,300 jumps). Includes mentorship from senior apprentices, dedicated wind tunnel time, and a pathway to Advanced Leadership roles (Chief Instructor, DZ Manager).
- Role Structure: Working across all areas of business operations with progression toward high individual responsibility in DZ Control and Instruction.
- Valuable Skills: Achievement of multiple British Skydiving qualifications, including A, B, and C Licences, Jump Master Grade 1 (JM1), Canopy Training Grade 1 & 2 (CT1, CT2), Radio Licence (ROCC), DZ Control qualification, FS Coach Rating, and the ultimate goal of the Tandem Instructor Rating. Opportunity to gain formal Customer Service Apprenticeships / NVQs.
- Other Support: Consideration for accommodation and transport support (paid for or refunded).

Skills & Experience
- Required Key Skills: High standards for safety and operational efficiency, willingness to perform a wide range of ground support and maintenance duties (e.g., mowing, cleaning). Exceptional customer service and front-of-house skills. Commitment to a physically and mentally demanding training program.
- Desirable Key Skills: Little to no prior skydiving experience (training is designed to instil our ethos from scratch). Experience in customer-facing roles, sales, or physically demanding work.
- Required Commitment: Must be able to fully commit to the intensive, multi-module training schedule (Module 0 through to Module 3 and beyond).
