THE JOB

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across the business, while completing your Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Apprenticeship and achieving NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Environmental Certificate
What You'll Do

Work closely with our Head of Health, Safety & Environment to implement and monitor safety policies.

Assist in developing and updating health and safety policies and procedures based on industry standards and regulations.

Support in the development of informative materials and resources to enhance safety awareness and understanding.

Facilitate the reporting of incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.

Assist the HSE Team in incident investigation and the development of suitable corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records of incidents.
-
Support the HSE Team in conducting internal audits and inspections.
-
Collaborate with external agencies during regulatory inspections and maintain required documentation.

Coordinate emergency drills and maintain safety equipment.

Compile and analyse health and safety data to identify trends and drive improvements.

Collaborate with teams across the business to embed safety into everything we do.

Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.

Ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
Essential

Excellent experience of MS Office products and SharePoint.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience within an administrative role.

Knowledge of the Carr's Billington Business Divisions.
