The Team assures the quality and standards of education provision, and the student academic experience and provides the voice of the University externally, in the higher education landscape.
As part of BPP’s exciting growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IQA professional to join our team and lead on the delivery of a wide range of learning and teaching activities within the Apprenticeship Quality Team.
This is a brand-new role offering the opportunity to turn quality improvement plans into action and drive the continuous review and enhancement of quality processes, with a specific focus on learning and teaching.

What you’ll be doing
In this role you will work closely with the Head of Apprenticeship Quality to ensure the teaching and training of BPP and its sub-contractors is to the highest standards which align, or exceed, external quality assurance mechanisms.
As such, you will be responsible for:

Providing high-quality support during regulatory inspections and visits, (e.g., Ofsted) across all BPP entities.

Working with colleagues in the central quality and compliance team and apprenticeship teams to prepare for and respond to external quality assurance visits.

Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing review of quality systems and processes.

Leading on internal quality assurance of assessments, progress reviews, and tutor/coach observations.

Designing and delivering cross-school training on quality assurance processes and delivering high-quality training for tutors and coaches.

Producing clear data-driven qualitative and quantitative reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Leading learner walks throughout the year to identify strengths and areas for development, supporting annual management observations.

Facilitating quality and compliance collaboration meetings across schools.

Contributing to the self-assessment review cycle and the development of quality improvement plans.

Compile and present committee reports, ensuring analysis is evidence-based and data-led.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

Level 4 Teaching Qualification or above (e.g., PGCE) or equivalent

Qualified Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)
-
Experience of working in the education sector, ideally within an apprenticeship environment

Knowledge and understanding of performance indicators and Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework
-
Experience of influencing change and achieving improvement in teaching, learning and assessment practice
-
The ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative stakeholder relationships
-
Experience of designing and delivering learning, teaching and/or coaching training to tutors and coaches would be advantageous
