Ever wondered who makes sure big projects stay on budget and deliver real value? Our six-year chartered surveyor degree apprenticeship is your chance to turn curiosity into a career with National Highways.
You’ll be at the centre of projects that connect the country, learning how to manage costs, value and risk while working with suppliers to deliver quality and efficiency. Guided by experienced commercial professionals, you’ll develop skills in forecasting, estimation, value management and whole-life costing, whilst gaining insight into contracts and supply chain management.
You’ll complete a Level 6 degree apprenticeship accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), setting you on the path to becoming a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. It’s the perfect way to graduate debt-free, gain real experience, and set yourself up for a career that really matters.

Assessment Centres will run in May - June 2026, and you’ll hear back soon after about whether you’ve secured a place.
All offers to the programme are subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, reference, and DBS criminal record checks.
