Ready to make a difference and help build a greener, more sustainable future? Join our three-year Environmental Specialist apprenticeship and kick-start a career making a real difference to the natural environment along our roads.
You’ll work with experienced professionals to learn how we care for trees and green spaces, helping to keep them safe, healthy and sustainable. From day one, you’ll get involved in:
Alongside hands-on experience, you’ll complete a Level 4 arboriculture qualification, which will open doors to careers in arboriculture (tree management and conservation zones), ecology and environmental management.

Assessment Centres will run in May - June 2026, and you’ll hear back soon after about whether you’ve secured a place.
All offers to the programme are subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, reference, and DBS criminal record checks.
